Henrik Johansen is a Danish licensed Bereiter and an authorized trainer of
future riding instructors, with more than 35 years experience. Currently, he
teaches regularly scheduled dressage clinics at national, as well as
international levels, in many locations throughout Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and
the United States. His students ride and compete at all levels, including
International FEI competitions in dressage, as well as in combined training.
Henrik established Positive Riding 19 years ago with the goal to share his
simple and logical system of training with professional trainers and amateur
riders. Henrik's theories and philosophies have developed over years of teaching
and training, and are based on the principles of classical dressage, while
taking into account that the understanding of the psyche of the horse and rider
are an essential part of the training process.
We are a small friendly farm and believe in providing a safe, caring place while bringing horses
and riders to their full potential. We show in open USDF shows as well as Arabian breed shows and
host the LPSDC Schooling Show Series using graduates of the "L" Dressage Learners program as our judges.
