The rules that govern E.I. activities and events come from a variety of places. The foundation is our E.I. bylaws, but we conduct shows according to the rules of USEF, USEA and USDF and the board of directors make decision by vote on various details which are recorded as E.I. policy here:

Policy #1
It is E.I. policy that all rider must wear protective headgear during E.I. schooling shows and clinics. Rules governing recognized shows rest with the respective governing bodies. At E.I. schooling shows and clinics the event organizer has a right to refuse attendance without the proper protective headgear as well as give dispensation on an individual basis given sufficient grounds.
